Karen & Nigel’s local shopping commitment: the Christmas list

Before we passed all our Christmas presents to Santa for delivery on Christmas Eve, we shopped at the following local traders to try and make Christmas wishes come true for our friends and family:

NIGEL’S LIST

Daughters Gabriella (22), Emily (16) and Olivia (12) got an assortment of lovely gifts from their dad from Racquet, French Quarter and Lance James the jewellers.

Mum & Dad and sister-in-law got gifts from French Quarter and Nigels’ brother got airfix kits from the new bike shop in Kings Road and clothes from Zakz.

Nigel was playing host on Christmas Day and the food and drink came from Calcott Hall Farm, French’s Farm Shop and Wines of France.

Nigel also supported Tarantino’s by holding his staff party there for his Hair Company team

KAREN’S LIST

Karen’s lovely Mum got her main present, as requested, from French Quarter and Nails at Studio 4.

Cllr David Kendall, Karen’s partner, did well in Zakz, a few new clothes for a busy politician and a special present from Tides!

Sister Claire requested her favourite perfume and it was bought at The New Pharmacy and a little jewellery gift from Comfort & Joy for being a lovely sister!  Brother-in-law Dean has always been a fan of Zakz so it’s the ideal place to buy his presents any year!

Nephew Freddie (2 & 3/4): Freddie was a bit of an exception as he really wanted Lego and a toy meerkat this year (neither available in Brentwood!) but he also got a little present - a “My First Passprt” cover from Baskets & Homeware.

Friends’ presents: My best friends Annabel and Vikki got an assortment of gifts from an evening at Knights Way Community Centre, French Quarter, The New Pharmacy and Clement Joscelyne.  For her assistant at work, The New Pharmacy was the place for a thank you present.

Karen wasn’t entertaining at her home this Christmas, but she bought her new Christmas decorations from Bliss in Shenfield and a Christmas Cake from Callcot Hall Farm.

Nigel & Karen also bought Christmas cards from The Card Factory.
